Terms.

By downloading, installing, or using sKedIt AI ("the app"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Who provides the app

sKedIt AI is provided by Alhasan Muhammad Hasan, an independent developer based in Egypt ("we", "us"). Contact: alhasanmuhammadai@gmail.com.

2. What the app does

sKedIt AI is an AI-powered scheduling assistant. It lets you:

Create schedule blocks, tasks, and goals by typing or speaking (Egyptian Arabic, English, or a mix).
Have AI parse your spoken instructions into structured calendar items.
Have AI suggest optimal placements, rescheduling options, and break long-term goals into focused sessions.
Track your daily completion streak and goal progress.

Voice and AI features rely on third-party AI providers (OpenAI for transcription, Anthropic Claude for parsing). The app is a productivity tool — not a medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical service.

3. Your account

To use the app you must create an account using email/password, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google. You agree to:

Provide accurate information.
Keep your sign-in credentials secure.
Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher).
Not share your account with others.

You can delete your account at any time via Profile → "Delete account & data".

4. Subscriptions (Pro plan)

The app offers a paid Pro subscription in two billing cycles:

Pro Monthly (skedit_pro_monthly)
Pro Annual (skedit_pro_annual)

Pricing varies by region and is shown in the app before purchase. All payments are processed by Apple through your Apple ID — we never see your payment details.

Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date, charged to your Apple ID.

Cancelling: anytime via iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → sKedIt AI. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you keep Pro until then. No partial refunds for unused time.

Refunds: handled by Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds directly.

Price changes: we'll notify you at least 30 days before a price change takes effect on renewal; you can cancel beforehand.

Free trial: if offered, its terms are shown at purchase. The subscription begins automatically at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends.

5. Free tier & fair use

The free tier includes a limited number of AI actions per month (currently 5 voice inputs, 5 AI schedule generations, 5 AI reschedules, 3 goal schedules), resetting at the start of each calendar month. New installs get a more generous one-time allowance for the first 48 hours.

Pro raises these to high monthly limits intended to feel unlimited for everyday use, with fair-use caps in place to prevent automated abuse. We may adjust these limits to keep the service sustainable and protect against misuse.

6. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the app or its backend.
Use scripts, bots, or other means to bypass usage limits or impersonate human use.
Submit content that is illegal, harassing, or that infringes anyone's rights.
Attempt to disrupt or overload our backend.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these rules.

7. Your content

You retain all rights to the content you create (tasks, blocks, goals, voice recordings). By using the AI features, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your content solely to provide the service (transcription, parsing, scheduling, and backing it up to your account). We use it for nothing else — see the Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual property

The app, its design, code, glossary, prompts, and brand are the property of Alhasan Muhammad Hasan. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app on devices you own or control.

9. Third-party services

The app uses these processors: Supabase (auth, backend, content backup), OpenAI (transcription), Anthropic (Claude, AI parsing), RevenueCat (subscription management), Apple (payments & Sign in with Apple), and Google (optional sign-in). Their respective terms also apply when used through the app.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. AI features may produce incorrect or unexpected results — always review what the AI proposes before relying on it. We do not warrant the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly accurate.

Specifically: do not rely on sKedIt AI alone for safety-critical reminders (medication, emergency appointments). Use a dedicated tool with guarantees for those.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or, if you are on the free tier, USD 10).

This does not limit liability for anything that cannot be limited by law (e.g. gross negligence or intentional misconduct).

12. Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, abuse the service, or if we discontinue the app. On termination, sections 7–11 and 13–15 survive.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the app evolves. For material changes we'll update the "Last updated" date and notify you in-app on next launch. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by good-faith discussion will be submitted to the competent courts of Cairo, Egypt — except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence require otherwise.
